Services

Every stage,
or just the one
you need.

Imbue is organised into eight divisions. Each can be a starting point on its own, or a stage in a project that runs all the way from first site assessment to final performance report.

Division 01

Feasibility & scoping

Every building ranked for solar and for wheeling before a rand is committed — modelled, costed and scored into a roadmap you can act on.

  • Scoping studies · onsite renewables
  • Wheeling investigations
  • Design approaches
  • Financial modelling
Full scope

Scoping studies · onsite renewables

  • RFI schedule issued to gather site information
  • Energy demand and usage patterns per building
  • Configuration options (grid tied, battery, generator)
  • Tie-in points and tariff structure
  • PV modelling on all roofs and ground-based options
  • Financial feasibility: capital outlay, purchase or PPA costings, ROI, IRR, yields and payback
  • Each site scored and ranked into a strategic roadmap

Wheeling investigations

  • Energy use analysis on at least 12 months of data
  • On-site generation modelling
  • Net load profile simulation
  • Wheeled energy sizing in kWh and kW
  • Cost and tariff investigation — an all-in landed cost
  • 15–20 year financial model against business-as-usual
  • Final report, presentation and PPA negotiation support

Design approaches

  • Optimised designs — cost-effective performance and maximum return, best when roof space exceeds the load
  • Maximised designs — highest possible yield, best when load exceeds roof space and for wheeling projects
  • Battery storage — BESS modelled for surety of supply, arbitrage or peak demand shaving, looped back to PV sizing

Financial modelling

  • Accurate project budgets and long-term cash-flow projections
  • Return-driven financial analysis
  • Capital requirements and funding options
  • System optimisation and off-taker viability for PPAs
  • Proposed structures reviewed from both owner and off-taker perspectives
Division 02

Implementation

Six stages from the first data request to a signed handover file. We run the tender, negotiate the contracts and manage the EPC contractor — with no commercial interest in who wins the work.

  • The six stages
  • Implementation works
Full scope

The six stages

  • Stage 0 · Information gathering
  • Stage 1 · Budget and feasibility
  • Stage 2 · System design development
  • Stage 3 · Tender procurement
  • Stage 4 · Project implementation
  • Stage 5 · Testing, close out and completion

Implementation works

  • Energy and water reduction
  • Augmented water supply
  • EV charging
  • Space quality improvements
Division 03

Asset management

Independent oversight that holds the asset to the model, year after year — and holds the O&M contractor to their obligations.

  • Quarterly reporting of actual against modelled performance
  • Management of the O&M contractor against their obligations
  • Technical monitoring and independent fault diagnosis
  • Financial and performance guarantee management
  • Reporting via the Imbue Portal dashboard
  • Warranty claims, ad hoc items and O&M retender
Division 04

Imbue Portal

A single source of truth for the portfolio: real-time generation measured against the model, and the money measured against the goals set at feasibility.

  • Actual performance — Generation data captured from any online monitoring platform on the system.
  • Estimated performance — Simulated results adjusted for weather and downtime, compared against actual.
  • Financial analytics — Savings and revenue tracked against the goals set at feasibility.
  • Portfolio view — Every site profiled, with analytics grouped and customised to your structure.

Division 05

Carbon finance

The certificates, disclosure and financing structures that turn a sustainability commitment into something bankable.

  • RECs and carbon credits
  • Public commitments and carbon disclosure
  • Sustainability financing
Division 06

Cillar

Our own platform. Energy, water, waste and space quality scored building by building, then rolled up into a portfolio ESG framework with baselines, goals and KPIs.

Benchmarks and goals are set per typology, so light industrial is never judged against office.

  • Cillar sustainability reporting
  • ESG portfolio reporting
  • Building sustainability reviews

Full scope

Cillar sustainability reporting

  • Existing data coordinated and uploaded into a portfolio and building-level view
  • Monthly reporting of actual performance against the benchmarks set
  • Review against industry norms, standards and your own goals
  • Improvements and gaps identified per building
  • Proposed efficiency measures, including water projects such as boreholes and groundwater systems

ESG portfolio reporting

  • Core components and data identified — climate impacts, carbon, biodiversity, energy, water, waste, CSI and wellness
  • Goals set jointly, guided by GRI and SASB frameworks
  • Portfolio-level action plans with guidance for facilities teams
  • Communication and reporting on progress against goals

Building sustainability reviews

  • Policies and plans that support building sustainability
  • Energy and water reduction initiatives
  • State of waste management
  • Occupant feedback through surveys
  • A building-level ESG framework and KPIs linked to the portfolio
Division 07

Beyond buildings

Wheeled energy supply, technical due diligence, user education and net zero strategy — the work that sits outside a standard renewable energy scope. Minor projects run on hourly rates; major ones follow the six-stage process and a capex fee table.

  • Consulting and strategy
  • Wheeled energy supply
  • Technical partnership
Full scope

Consulting and strategy

  • Waste minimisation and net zero
  • User education
  • EV parking and performance modelling

Wheeled energy supply

  • Wheeled energy solutions through Open Access Energy
  • Green energy bought elsewhere and delivered over the existing grid
  • Long-term renewable supply, hedged against volatile tariff increases

Technical partnership

  • Independent technical and financial due diligence on acquisition
  • System design analysis, load data and simulation review
  • Financial model assessment including IRR, payback and NPV
Division 08

Solid Green collaboration

All green building consulting and certification is undertaken by Solid Green Performance, the division Simon Penso established and heads. Imbue coordinates the work so you deal with one team across both.

  • Green Star EBP ratings
  • Energy Performance Certificates
  • Net Zero certificates
